No, segregation does NOT imply discrimination. People use the word "discrimination" so loosely these days it has lost all meaning. If one group is not disadvantaged over another group, it is not discrimination. You are free to be of the opinion that segregation is wrong, but then it is wrong in itself, not because it is discriminatory.
(As for me, well, the answer is simple: if I have a son I would put him in a mixed school, but if I have a daughter then I would seriously consider going for girls-only. Especially given the state of the country we find ourselves in...)
But there is something wrong here, and that is what they teach to kids. The sexually discriminative content of their religion.
